Compliance update: Progress of ECO obligations

Ofgem have released an update of the energy companies’ progress towards their ECO obligations. It displays the number of energy efficiency measures that were notified and approved by Ofgem and the numbers that weren’t notified but installed since 1st April.

Below is a table showing the number of approved measures…


Three ECO Obligations:

Carbon Emissions Reduction Obligation (CERO): solid wall and hard-to-treat cavity wall insulation alongside secondary measures including other insulation and district heating systems

Carbon Saving Community Obligation (CSCO): insulation and district heating measures in low income areas, including a minimum requirement in rural areas

Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation (HHCRO): insulation and heating measures delivered to low income and vulnerable households
